Import conversions from Google Tag Manager
Importing conversions from Google Tag Manager is rolling out gradually and may not be available on your account yet. It requires a connected Google Tag Manager container.
Overview
If you already track events in Google Tag Manager (GTM), you can import them into Realize as conversions instead of setting each one up by hand. Realize scans your connected GTM container for common events and lets you turn them into Taboola conversions in a single flow.
This is useful when your GTM container already contains conversion logic, for example events you previously set up for other ad platforms. Rather than recreating that logic, you import the existing events and select which ones to track as conversions.
To define conversions manually instead, see Defining conversions.
Before you start
- The base Taboola Pixel is installed on your site. See Add event pixels in GTM.
- Your Google Tag Manager container is connected to your Realize account.
