Q: Which email marketing platforms are supported?

You should be able to use Mailbridge with any platform that supports:

  1. HTML templates
  2. Dynamic macros

For more detail, see the integration guide.

Q: Can I include recommendations for OC (Organic Content)?

At this time, Mailbridge supports Sponsored Content (SC) only.

Q: Does Mailbridge support dynamic content - e.g. motions ads, reel, etc?

At this time, Mailbridge supports static images only.

Q: What should we do for GDPR and CCPA?

If your users fall under the GDPR or CCPA, you will need to:

  1. Pass a CMP consent signal.
  2. Encrypt any sensitive information.

For more detail, see the integration guide.

🚧

If your users do not fall the GDPR or CCPA, then the above steps are not required.

During the onboarding, your Taboola Account Manager will confirm your specific needs.

Q: Which layouts do you recommend?

Our best-practice layout is 1x4 for desktop and 2x2 for mobile.

🚧

The total number of slots must be equal for both mobile and desktop.

For example, you cannot choose 1x4 for desktop and 1x1 for mobile.

Q: Will you provide separate code snippets for desktop and mobile?

The same code snippet will display correctly on both desktop and mobile - there is no need for separate code snippets.

Q: Can we view performance reports?

Certainly. Your Taboola Account Manager will provide you with a separate account for Mailbridge. You can run any of the regular Backstage reports for your Mailbridge account.

Q: Can we test-drive with a demo account?

No. However, a demo account is not needed. Your Taboola Account Manager will provide you with a separate account for Mailbridge. You can evaluate performance with that account.

Q: Which Taboola account should we use?

Your Taboola Account Manager will provide you with a separate account for Mailbridge.

Q: Can we use a network-level account?

Yes. You can choose between a single, network account - or multiple sub-accounts.

🚧

Pros & cons

Network account

  • Pro: Simplifies the rollout and reduces the risk of friction.
  • Con: Provides less granular reporting (i.e. one aggregated report across all accounts in the network).

Multiple sub-accounts

  • Pro: Provides more granular (per-account) reporting.
  • Con: Rollout is longer, and the risk of friction is higher.

Tip: If you choose to implement multiple sub-accounts, consider starting with one account. Once that account is running smoothly, you can roll out to the other accounts.

Q: What should we do for ads.txt?

No need to do anything. Ads.txt is not relevant for email campaigns.

Q: Is there an API for Mailbridge?

No. At this time, Taboola does not provide an API.

Q: Can we insert more than 1 Taboola unit in our newsletter?

Certainly. During onboarding, your Taboola Account Manager will confirm your specific needs.

Q: Can we display a CTA button?

Yes. During onboarding, your Taboola Account Manager will confirm your specific needs.

Q: Can we display ad attribution?

Yes. During onboarding, your Taboola Account Manager will confirm your specific needs.
