Failing conversion rule creation
Hello.
I've been recently trying to create a conversion rule through the Taboola Backstage API, as specified in the appropriate section of the documentation (https://developers.taboola.com/backstage-api/reference#create-a-conversion-rule).
In order to create the rule, I've been issuing a POST request to the following endpoint,
https://backstage.taboola.com/backstage/api/1.0/{my_account_id}/universal_pixel/conversion_rule/
with a correctly generated Access Token (I've been using it to call several other API endpoints as well and it worked in those circumstances).
My JSON body is:
{
"event_name": "test_pixel",
"display_name": "test_pixel",
"include_in_total_conversions": false,
"category": "SEARCH",
"status": "ACTIVE",
"type": "EVENT_BASED",
"condition": [],
"exclude_from_campaigns": false,
"look_back_window": 30
}
Even though there seems to be no inconsistency with the documentation (all fields seems to be correctly configured and no required field is missing, apparently), the API responds with an error:
{
"http_status": 400,
"message": "Bad request",
"message_code": "api.action.bad_request.null"
}
No meaningful message is associated with the response and I don't know how to make this work.
Thanks in advance for your support.

Site ID Details via API
Hi Team,
It would be great if somehow we could easily fetch the site ID details say via API, Interface as we depend on it for our day to day optimisations.
Please let me know if we can do this in anyway?

Limits on per campaign bid mods?
I saw that the limit for blocking is 1500. Does this also apply to bid mods? Do they share a total count? Thanks!

Hello!
I am looking for a dynamic way of fetching the Network ID from an API or something similar.
Would you please advise?
Thanks!

Authentication for API development requirements
I am starting development of a daily backend service to run the campaign summaries api. I'm having a little trouble following the 4 authentication types and use cases. It sounds like the Client Authentication flow is what is preferred, but it only generates a 12 hour token for us meaning we would have to grab a new token everytime the application runs.
We have typically used refresh tokens in the past for longer access tokens and a secondary service to refresh our token on a monthly interval. I am having trouble finding documentation on how to generate the initial refresh token to use with the 4th authentication method "refresh token".
If we code the service to pull a new key based on the client id and client secret multiple times a day, will this be a problem? What are the daily key generation limits using the preferred method 1 listed in documentation?

Authorization Code Flow - how does one whitelist the redirect UIRs?
Hi there,
where/how can we add the redirect URIs to the whitelist?
The account manager asked us to ask you here.
Also is it possible to get credentials that are not tied to an advertiser, so that we can properly utilize the code authorization flow?
Thank you.

Duplicate a campaign to another advertiser
Hey,
Is there an option to choose a different provider (advertiser) when using a "duplicate campaign API"?
For example, if I have "demo-advertiser" (that contains campaign 123) and "another-advertiser", can I do something like:
curl --request POST \
--url https://backstage.taboola.com/backstage/api/1.0/demo-advertiser/campaigns/123/duplicate \
--header 'content-type: application/json' \
--data '{"name":"Copy to another", "advertiser": "another-advertiser"}'
Thanks!

How can I pagination and/or filtering of advertiser reports?
How can I pagination and/or filter the advertiser reports?
When dealing with a very large data set it would be helpful if we could paginate the our results or have the ability to filter and/or sort the data. (e.g. we would like to get the visit_value reporting sorted by revenue DESC)

Burk
Dear Taboola support team,
currently we are working on an app where a user can connect to his Taboola account via the Taboola Backstage API. We are planning on using the Authorization Code Flow for authentication.
We have the following question, since this isn't entirely clear from your Docs:
Should the client credentials (client ID and client secret) be set by the user or system wide? So, should every user of our app get his client credentials from Taboola and enter them when setting up the integration, or should we get one set of client credentials that will be used by very user of our app?
Regards, Burk
